Happy Thanksgiving
Fall weather...isn’t it great? It charges you and gives a hop to your step. Hope you have a happy Thanksgiving with your families.
But...don’t forget to come out and celebrate the fall with your dance family. We are at "The Horseman Club" ( our home base for the FW Chapter) by the DJ booth on Saturday’s and at Cowboys in Arlington on Friday nights.
We would love to meet more of our Fort Worth members. I know there are a lot of you that I personally do not know and we are a really friendly bunch of dancers so now that you know where we sit come over and just say Hi and we will take it from there.
We are out other nights of the week at Cowboys, Electric Cowboy and at The
Horseman but I can only guaranty where we are in numbers on Friday and Saturday
nights. Just come up and say Hi, I ‘m in the Dance Association and like I said
we will take over and introduce you around to all our members there.
If you are still unsure of exactly who or where we are, ask someone from the club and/or the DJ and they will tell you or bring you to us. Our clubs are wonderful to us and we really appreciated the support they give to us and the privileges they allow us to have in their clubs.
We also like to get there at or around 7:00 so we can have plenty of room to dance and then we leave around 10:00 to go eat somewhere and have our own quality fun family time with each other. This is where we really bond as a group and find out all the juicy stuff and the funny stories...( Donnie Stewart is the best storyteller and his are really funny and also true).
We are a dance association that promotes country dancing and really all forms of dancing. We do not limit ourselves to just country because country music is ever changing and the country music also allows for West Coast Swing, Cha-Cha, Rumba, Mambo, Tango, Samba, Bolero, Merengue, Fox Trot, and yes even Quick Step. So come out and meet and greet with us and enjoy your dancing experience with us.
Chapter Christmas Party 7:00 on Saturday Dec. 17th
The Fort Worth Chapter has a Christmas party every year. We have this at Ron and Beki’s home @5813 Whitman Ave., Fort Worth, Texas 76133. The dress is casual and comfy or Christmas and sparkly. This year will be no exception. The chapter will supply the BBQ from Cousins as the main course and soft drinks and all you need to bring is a dish based on your last name starting letter.

All Members meeting on @ The Horseman Club
We
had a great time at the All Members meeting on October 8th at The Horseman Club.
I want to thank the staff at Horseman for their help and cooperation letting us
put on this event in their club and the E-Board for all their help in the
preparation for this event. I also want to personally thank Bruce and Lynn
Lesikar, Donnie and Melinda Stewart, Chris Myers, Lynda Kauffman and Beki Crider
for helping with registration at the front desk and getting the set up ready for
the members to have a great time dancing with a club all to ourselves. I also
want to thank Ted Myers for making a music blended CD of all the dance music I
gave him for our dancing pleasure and Beki for organizing the food for the event
and the arch balloon decorations from Balloons Fantastic.
The Cowboys Chapter with help from the E-Board will be hosting our Christmas Party on Tuesday December 13th @ 7:00. This is a formal affair so plan accordingly. There will be wonderful food and the cost is 10.00 per person and $15.00 for guests. I think you will need to send in your money early so they can have a head count as this is being catered. This will be a fairytale night so come and join us for a special time. See their article for more information on this event.
New
Years Eve Private Association Dance Party
The Holiday Inn North at Meacham Blvd. is where you will find
most of the FW Chapter spending New Years Eve. We have had several of these
special parties over the 15 years that the FW Chapter has been in existence and
they are always a success and the best time. The cost is $40.00 per person and
that includes the meal served after midnight by the hotel. Michael O’Brian
will be our DJ for the event. Send your check in to reserve your spot to TCWDA,
New Years Eve Dance, P.O. Box 167056, Irving, Texas 75016-7056. You can also
stay at the hotel for $59.00 a night, a special rate for TCWDA. See article in

TCWDA Cruise October 30th,
2005. Royal Caribbean Cruise Horseman Club FRIDAY NIGHT: No cover until 8:00
Saturday Night…no cover all night and our own music from
7:00 until 8:30. What a great deal. Come on out and join us for a fun night of
social dancing!!!

for a band.
