Chapter Dancing @ Clubs
If you’ve been wondering where the chapter is dancing...wonder no more. On
most Friday nights you will find us at Cowboys Arlington visiting the folks
there. 
On Saturday night we are back at our favorite dancing floor and
club..."The Horseman Club", the Fort Worth Chapter’s home base. As
usual you will find us by our DJ Cory in our usual spot. Come by and say hello
as we have a lot of members that we don’t know and would love to meet you.
After dancing we leave and go have dinner close by and that’s where we really
get to know each other. Join us for dancing and dinner; we would love to get to
know you.
All Members Meeting at "The Horseman Club"
Come to the all members meeting on October 8th @ 2:00 at The Horseman
Club. The Fort Worth Chapter is sponsoring this event with the E-Board. I
need volunteers to work about 30 minutes at the front door to sign people in.
It’s a great way to meet your fellow chapter and association members. We
will have a very short meeting and then a private dance party for all members
and a friend if they want to come. Bring a covered dish (so don’t eat
lunch) and the E-Board is furnishing Cousin’s BBQ as the main course. A
great afternoon with our private party of great friends, best club, food and
music from our best music sources in the association. We will dance at
Horseman until... What could be better? Ron and I have been going to these
all members meetings for 15 years now and love them. Come join us for a day
of fun and dancing...
The Cowboys Chapter with help from the E-Board will be hosting our Christmas Party on Tuesday December 13th @ 7:00. This is a formal affair so plan accordingly. There will be wonderful food and the cost is 10.00 per person and $15.00 for guests. I think you will need to send in your money early so they can have a head count as this is being catered. This will be a fairytale night so come and join us for a special time. See their article for more information on this event.
New
Years Eve Private Association Dance Party
The Holiday Inn North at Meacham Blvd. is where you will find
most of the FW Chapter spending New Years Eve. We have had several of these
special parties over the 15 years that the FW Chapter has been in existence and
they are always a success and the best time. The cost is $40.00 per person and
that includes the meal served after midnight by the hotel. Michael O’Brian
will be our DJ for the event. Send your check in to reserve your spot to TCWDA,
New Years Eve Dance, P.O. Box 167056, Irving, Texas 75016-7056. You can also
stay at the hotel for $59.00 a night, a special rate for TCWDA. See article in

Dance Shows on Television Hope you are watching all these dance shows on television as they are very good and are spurring a lot of interest in dancing. A lot more people are thinking of taking up dancing and that can only mean an improvement for our clubs and that means great places to dance for all of us that were smart enough to take this up years ago.
We want to extend our heartfelt sympathies to James and Judy Eason on the death of his niece. We are a close group and the loss of a loved one is felt by all.
Hope to see you at all these events... until then...enjoy your dance friends and family as they are precious to all of us. Also, continue to keep the Katrina and Rita displaced families in your prayers. Dancers have given so much in money and help including one that I know of, Chris Myers, who has worked in Dallas at the Convention Center to help the Katrina Victims. Dancers have big hearts and Chris Myers is one of the best. I'm sure we have others who have helped out and we thank you for your time on this wonderful project. TCWDA Cruise October 30th,

Saturday Night…no cover all night and our own music from
7:00 until 8:30. What a great deal. Come on out and join us for a fun night of
social dancing!!!
