A Sparkling 4th of July

A great big thank you to Jeff and Trish for hosting our 2nd annual Independence Day Celebration at their awesome lake house on Eagle Mountain Lake. We had fun, ate, drank, broke only one chair again, and lined up on shore to watch the City Fireworks, Lake Fireworks and yes, your dancing Prez Ron, "The Fireworks King" do his show. He even built rocket launchers. John V. your E-Board President also helps to put on a spectacular show for us. We had Hamburgers, hotdogs, a fish fry, and a plethora of other foods. Don Stearns brought his famous homemade ice cream. Jeff and Trish have a two layer covered pavilion and with the wind coming off the water we were very comfortable all day and even the bugs stayed away at night. If you missed it this year, make a mental note for next year… if they let us come back. (Maybe if we promise not to break anymore chairs.) Thanks again from your Chapter dance family.

"Prez Ron Sez"

We have such close ties in our dance family. It does not matter what chapter you reside in. If you are in need of assistance, help, or a good shoulder to cry on, just let someone know and the family goes to work. We have some really great leaders in this organization now and in the past that have always gone above and beyond the call of duty. I hope you know that your E-Board Officers and Chapter Officers do not get paid a dime, yet are constantly giving of time, money, (yes gas, too) and their abilities and/or skills to go to the aid of someone or to make an event even better for their members. There are many in this association, but your President John Vislosky is the star jewel in the crown. This man spends probably 75% of his time making your association better and by his side is Lynda K. his right arm. Beki and I have been in this association for over 14 years and served as officers in the chapter and E-Board and I can’t think of anywhere I would rather be with on the weekend or on a weekday than with my family or my dance family.

Friends are fun and friends are clever,
And the ties that bind friends will last forever.

We need four hugs a day for survival.
We need eight hugs a day for maintenance.
We need twelve hugs a day for growth.

We should be so healthy with all the hugs we get out dancing with our friends!
Have a great summer!
