Wow! We want to thank Ron Crider, Fort Worth Prez for putting
together a super turnout at Gilley’s Dance Club in Dallas. We had a really
great turnout from most all chapters with around 90-100 members in attendance.
For most of us this was a first time experience at the new club and they treated
us to a wonderful time. We visited with some new friends and old friends that we
had not seen in years. Your E-Board Pres. John V. and Lynda met us at the door
at 5:30 to meet with Gilley’s Management to make your entrance into Dallas’s
New hot spot smooth and your dance floor experience fun. They also have a
restaurant near the dance floor and you can eat there and not have to leave for
food. We’re hoping they will become a supporting merchant. Thanks again to Ron
Crider for putting this together and to all the dancers who made this roadtrip.
Note from your Prez…
I want to thank you for your show of support for our Gilley’s trip. This
month I have a closer road-trip planned and it’s to have our March social at
The Texas Hoe-Down (Holiday-Inn North, Mecham Blvd) on March 27th at
7:00 for some dance fun and great music.
We are still floating around on Friday nights, but most Saturday nights find
us in our home at The Horseman Club. We have been to Electric Cowboy and are
going to be going to Cowboys Arlington and also to The Swift Center at UTA in
Arlington. If you would like to be notified of our plans for the upcoming

Dance Lessons @ Horseman

Faulkner is teaching a series of lessons on Sunday afternoons. They run from
4:30 to 6:00. She has taught, Waltz, West Coast, Night Club Two Step, Cha Cha,
Fort Worth Shuffle, and Two-step (Basic level). You can never have too much of
basics. Especially if you social dance because as you know we get sloppy on some
of our technique. The FW Chapter is supporting these lessons with participation
and members get a discount on cost. Come on out and party with your chapter…

of the Fort Worth Chapter have negotiated a 7 day cruise for October 10th
2004 for TCWDA. (Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines). Key West Florida, Grand Cayman
Islands and Cozumel. Cruise leaves from Galveston so no airfair expense. Look
