A Tribute to Our Friends We Miss

I'm Spending My Christmas<
with Jesus This Year

To see the countless Christmas Trees,
around the world below

With tiny lights like heaven's stars
reflecting on the snow.

The sight is so spectacular,
please wipe away that tear,
For I'm spending Christmas
with
Jesus Christ this year.

I hear the many Christmas songs
that people hold so dear.

But the sounds of music can't compare
with the Christmas choir up here.

For I have no words to tell you
the joy their voices bring,
It's simply beyond description
to hear the angels sing.

I can't tell you of the splendor
or the peace here in this place.
Can you just imagine Christmas
with our Savior face to face?
Please let your hearts be joyful,
and let your spirit sing,
For I am spending Christmas in heaven,
And I 'm walking with the King!

I would personally like to thank both of you who voted me into office.

It was a long hard race with what I thought was a lot of political mud slinging. As it turned out some rumors were true and others I wish were true. I fully intend to run this chapter like Sudam Hussan in hopes that the Dixie Chicks will be proud of my Texas Heritage. If there’s anything you need or want help with, don’t hesitate to call…your Mother.

In reality I will strive to make your Fort Worth Chapter experience fun with some new adventures.

Fort Worth Chapter Christmas Party

WOW! My cheeks hurt I laughed so much at our party. Pat Quick and George Arndt (Bob Eubanks in disguise) put together our new game…"The Old Newlywed…Baby I’m yours tonight!) game. The questions were great and the answers even better.

The winners were Donnie & Melinda Stewart or his nighttime name…(Big Chief) Other contestants were, John & Cheryl Lester, Jeff Jeffries, Trish Simpson and Don & Vera Hancock. The winners and the game coordinators all received a set of NUKKLES. (a new massage instrument to die for found at NUKKLES.COM) Ron Crider had recorded the show called Blue Collar Comedy Tour and Don Hancock had made a CD of it for us with Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Envall, Larry the Cable Guy and Ron White. After some food, wine, fun with our friends in our Old/Newlywed game, we then settled down for some good old country humor. (Hence the jaw pain from laughing so much).

TCWDA Christmas Party

Lynda Kauffman and her committee and our Executive Board Officers put together a wonderful Christmas party for our association. We had great music, great DJ’s (both) and the best thing is being with all our dance family. Linda Williams said it best…This is our dance family and it’s the BEST!
