Howdy from the Trail Boss!

Well buckaroos and buckeretts, this is it for me. The time has come for me to ride off into the sunset. This is my last word as Fort Worth Chapter President. It's been 3 years and the TCWDA bylaws say that's it.

It has been an honor to serve and I don't regret it at all. Not the whining that the "Man" gets about music, slick floors, lost cards or lost newsletters.

I can't leave without thanking everyone who has done so much to help me get through the whole traildrive.

Thank you Bob O, Beki, Ron, Fred, Chris, James, Judy, David, Lynda, John, Linda, Charlie, Donnie, Melinda, Jim C, and the countless others that have helped me out so many times.

Most of all I have to say thank you to my better half. Mrs. Cheryl Lester ( I still love to hear that) was and still is my best friend and closest adviser on all things. I could not do didly squat without my girl by my side. Thank you Sugar for being there and just being you.

Ok, here is what I want every one to do. Just give Ron Crider all the support you can. He was in TCWDA long before I was and knows it better than anyone. He is going to make a great Pres. and will do the Chapter proud.
