Wow!
Where has the year gone? I’ve been around you guys for an official year now.
It’s been an exciting year. I have learned so much and had so much fun that I
don’t know where to start. The thing is, you guys are not just my dance
buddies, you are my friends.
Here’s a quick thank you to a lot of folks that have helped me in
2002 (sorry, some last names I don’t know, so I’ve left most of them off.).
Of course first on the list is Frances. Thank you for being my friend. Jim C, I
could not possibly be at the point I am in my dancing without your help. John
and Cheryl - let’s see, they’ve shared their friendship, time, concerns and
their cabin. Beki and Ron were there when the heat was on, literally and have
made me feel like an inner part of their world. And of course, there’s Fred.
Thank you Fred for your understanding and concern. Barbara, Ricky Camp, David De
Loach, Marilyn and Bob – all from Arlington chapter – thanks for your
friendship and sharing your time with me. I have really enjoyed everyone this
past year. Thank you all for sharing the dance world with me.
OK, back to the present
I
hear it’s going to be an exciting year and I am soooo ready. I hear that there’s
a spring trip planned to Longview to visit some dance clubs that Beki and Ron
found, and I think we’re going to take a trip to Denton to join in on Wayne
Chapman’s workshop on Feb. 1st. Then there’s the Ranger’s vs
the Yankee’s game that the Arlington chapter is sponsoring, and the Fort Worth
Cat’s game that the FW chapter is talking about sponsoring. Be sure to look at
the calendar so you don’t miss out.
