Fort Worth Chapter, Shuffle News

I can't believe that we have danced through almost four months of 2001. We have been so busy that the months are flying by and before we know it, we will be having our 2002 New Year's Eve Dance again.

The Horseman Club has been great for us and we welcome all our new members. Remember every Friday and Saturday night is our chapter social and the third weekend of every month is our special get acquainted nights.

We have reserved tables with our logo on them over by the DJ Booth. Speaking of DJ, WOW! Cory is playing great music. All you have to do is gaze out at the dance floor and see the levels of dancing going on, the smiling faces of people enjoying themselves and friends helping friends with dance moves.

We have a really special group of people and Ron and I are very proud to be associated with you.

TEXAS HOEDOWN

Wow! What fun. The FW Chapter planned our social for that month for the Friday night of the Hoedown. We had a wonderful time dancing and watching our chapter members compete. I do not have all their scores so I will just list their names. Ted Stewart, Don Stearns, Brenda Horton and Betty Cherry all danced us proud in competition. Great job Virginia, for a really fund event.
OUR BEST WISHES

We want to extend our sincerest wish for a speedy recovery from surgery for Vera Hancock. She had major surgery last week and is doing fine. We hope you can make it back to dance soon. You are and were sorely missed on the social floor and at the Texas Swing event in Dallas.
