Our members are so wonderful, helpful and so friendly. You make me so proud of the way you conduct yourself on and off the dance floor. I hear such wonderful reports of how friendly and helpful we are to other dancers, both in our chapter and new dancers wanting information. I hope we never loose that special quality to want to help others on or off the dance floor. If you have a question, or a guest with you or a friend, please introduce them to me or any one of the FW -E Board. Also, If you are a new member, I would love to meet you. I have read some new names in the November Newsletter and I realized that I don't know who you are, please come and say hello to Ron and me. Remember we usually leave around 10:00 and go to dinner at a local restaurant and that's where we really get to know each other better.

2001 New FW- E-Board

Well, it's that time of year again to be thinking of a new slate of officers for the Fort Worth Chapter. If you would like to serve on the FW Chapter Executive Board or be on the newsletter staff, please let me or Don Stearns or John Lester know. The elections will be held at our Christmas Party in December.

Dallas Dance Festival

Three wonderful days of friends, dancing and fun. What more could you ask for! Deby and Jayson Booth and Grant Austin put on a fabulous event again this year. One of the best Ron and I have ever attended. We enjoy working in the Hospitality room and getting to meet the Masters and Pros up close, when they're just chilling out. The show on Saturday night was absolutely hysterically funny and an awesome show of talent. DDF was a winner in our book again this year! Thx, to all who helped to put together a wonderful weekend of dancing and being with our dance family of friends.

Angels Among Us

Many of you knew that Paula Atherton fell and had to have surgery a couple of months ago. What you may not know is that Deby Booth stepped in and took care of her students in her absence. She learned their routines and worked with them and danced with them in competition and any proceeds (money) went to Paula. An Angel is among us and her name is DEBY! Rumor has it that Paula is doing great and hopefully will be able to dance at World's in Canada in January 2001.

Family Loss

We want to extend our deepest sympathy to Rick Stewart in the loss of his Granddad and to Don Hancock in the loss of his Father. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.
