Cliques The Horseman Club

Summertime and the living is hot and easy and the dancing is great at "The Horseman Club."
Our DJ Bryan is so wonderful to play any requests we want which really makes for
great dancing. Some of our people are away at competitions, having family get-to-gethers,
vacations, building houses and having grand-babies, but you can still find
most of us out on every Friday and Saturday night at our spot in "The Horseman Club" and other nights like Sunday visiting
Cowboy's Club in Arlington dancing
with friends we don't get to see very often. Cowboys' is great on Sunday nights if
you are looking for a place to dance. Terri Faulkner's lessons are over at 8:00 so
there is plenty of time to dance.
Welcome New Members
The FW members want to
extend a big welcome to all our new members. We are
glad to have you on board and welcome your ideas and impute into our growing
chapter. We are planning a big get together for all of us so we can get to know
each other better. This will be at my house in on August 19th. See details to
below.
Pool Party
Our annual pool party will be
on
Saturday, August 19th at my house at 5813
Whitman Avenue. We will dance at the Horseman as usual and
then
leave at 10:00 or
around that time. On your way to my house you will stop and pick up your favorite
food (fast food, pizza, etc.) and bring it with you. We will provide deserts, chips if
you need it, plates and flatware and cups. John and Cheryl Lester will bring the
chapters favorite drink and I will also make up some Margarita Punch. Bring a
towel and your swimsuit. We will also play some games Ron and I learned in
Puerto Vallarta at Blue Bay Getaway on vacation. We will party as long as we
want to or until the sun comes up. We have a blast at these parties so come and
have fun with us. I will try to have a map to pass out at the club that night or you
can follow someone here.
Champion's Division

Gras
heralds our dancers as the champions they are. Don
Stearns danced pro-am with Paula Atherton and took FIRST Place in his division
and Betty Cherry took THIRD Place in her division. Both of these were overall
wins. You made us proud!
