TEXAS COUNTRY WESTERN DANCE ASSOCIATION (TCWDA) and hope you will choose
to
become a member of our "family" we have seven chapters in Texas.
Our organization is made up of people who love to dance or who want to learn to
dance better.
Founded in 1989, TCWDA is a non-profit organization registered
with both the State of Texas and the IRS. The organization’s sole purpose is
to promote country western dancing. We use our dancing to give support to local
communities by hosting and contributing proceeds from events to local charitable
organizations. Some examples of activities to which we participate to achieve
these goals are:
WELCOMING COMMITTEES:
TCWDA will host out-of-state or out-of-town guests and provide
entertainment at sites in local Area that cater to country western dancing.
DANCE EXHIBITIONS:
TCWDA will furnish a wide variety of exhibition dancers to
entertain corporate or civic functions. Individuals participating will customize
entertainment to fill the sponsor’s needs.
DANCE COMPETITIONS:
TCWDA will coordinate amateur or professional dance
competitions on local or state levels, using TCWDA approved judges and contest
rules.
DANCE WORKSHOPS:
TCWDA will furnish qualified instructors to teach all levels
and styles of Country Western Dancing to individuals or groups.
